Greetings Brother and Sister Elks:

As another Lodge year comes to a close, so does my tenure as your

Exalted Ruler. It has been an honor and privilege to serve and represent

this Lodge for the past four years. None of this would have been

possible without you, the membership. You are the ones that

make this Lodge thrive, and I could not be more honored to have been your Exalted Ruler.

I would like to congratulate incoming Exalted Ruler, Anthony Vitale on his election to the office. Tony goes above and beyond for this Lodge, and I know he will do a fantastic job as he guides us through the upcoming Lodge year. Tony has assembled a great group of officers, and I am looking forward to helping in any way I can. Leaving this office does not mean I will not be involved. I

will be moving forward to serve as a Lodge Trustee and PER. I am excited to continue to be part

of the great Officers of this Lodge and more importantly, serving you, our membership.

I would like to personally thank those who have played an integral part of my success as we worked through Lodge issues. Kathy Lang, Don Rood, Brian Diaz, Tom Lemme, and Mike Pellegrino—you all were a godsend to me, and I could not have done any of it without your help and constant guidance. A special thanks to Val, Jimmy, Jose Z, Jose M and the entire kitchen staff for their hard work in helping all our functions be a great success.

We have many events coming up, from our Super Bowl Sunday, PER Night and our State President John Lawless’ luncheon being held here at our Lodge and a great Country Western Night dinner and dance at NY Lodge #1. As always, check the calendar for dates and times.

In closing I will state again, it has been my honor these past few years, but the bottom line is that YOU are the lifeblood of this Lodge. Thank you all for all you do. May God bless you all in each of our virtues: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity.
