Doe Club
Dear Sister Does and my Elk friends,
The Holiday Season is upon us and it’s time to look ahead to the many events planned by the Does and Elks.
As stated in my last column this will be my last year to serve as your President. I’m so thankful for the last five years and for all the love and friendship you have all shown me.
The Does kicked off our new season with our ever so popular VINO BINGO. This was an amazing event, well attended and I want to thank Edna Rakaska for making this a perfect evening. I want to thank Chris Petrella, Elk Exalted Ruler, for his generous raffle donation. Proceeds for this event benefit Autism.
The Elks held their annual event Oktoberfest. What a night--great food, amazing raffles, and the German dancers and band made the night outstanding.
The Doe Club proudly presented PIRATES REVENGE--this was a fun filled night with table games, food, raffles prizes, and 50/50. I want to thank Nancy Blum for chairing this event with me and for all her help; it was a pleasure to work with her.
The Elks held their annual Italian Night hosted by Carmela Narducci. As always, Carmela made this an event to be remembered, leaving no detail unattended.
